Why usually Bathroom use ceramic sink but stainless steel sink

Usually the bathroom sink uses ceramic material, and the kitchen sink uses stainless steel, the main reason is the function of the two areas are different, the use of the sink is different, so the applicable material is not the same, reason as below:
 
1, the advantages of ceramic bathroom sinks 
The bathroom environment is humid because the bathroom water consumption is large,  the material of the sink needs to be waterproof, stain resistant and wear-resistant. And the ceramic can be made into a variety of shapes of sink, the appearance level is high, the glaze is smooth, tight, not easy to hang dirty, easy to clean and take care of, usually it can be cleaned just by water flushing.
2, the advantages of stainless steel kitchen sinks
The kitchen sink is used to clean pots and pans and all kinds of food, and the material required is hard and wear-resistant, not easy to damage, easy to clean, and the stainless steel surface, after polishing treatment, has a strong anti-corrosion performance, hardness, use for decades without deformation and cracking, and it is very convenient to maintain without using too much time and energy.
