How to make sinks more shine?

2024-01-16 17:05:21
Here are several methods to make your sink shine:
Cream Cleaner Method: Apply a generous amount of cream cleaner over the sink, especially on the grimy areas. Scrub the sink, the plug, the taps, and the fixings with a metal or a less abrasive scour, depending on the material of the sink. Rinse the cream cleaner away with running water, using a sponge to wipe the draining board. Dry the sink and the taps with a soft cloth to remove any residue. Polish the taps with a paper towel to make them shine.
Waxed Paper Method: Wipe the sink and faucet with a microfiber cloth, no need to add soap. Rip off a piece of waxed paper and rub it on the sink and faucet.
Mineral Oil Method: Clean the sink and dry it thoroughly. Apply a thin coat of mineral oil to the sink with a soft cloth. Buff the sink with a clean, soft cloth to create a lasting shine.
Bleach Method: Cover the interior of the sink with a double layer of paper towels if the surface still appears dull. Dilute 1 part household bleach with 5 parts water. Pour the mixture onto the towels until they are soaked through. Remove the towels after eight hours and rinse the sink.
Club Soda Method: Put the stopper in the drain and pour in some club soda. Buff it around with a cloth, drying to prevent water spots when done. To give your sink that extra burst of shine, you can apply a few drops of baby oil to a paper towel and buff it around.
Remember to choose the method that suits the material of your sink. Always test a small area first to ensure it doesn’t damage your sink.
